This page describes what the OptionsNow software does, end to end, and the boundaries it
operates within. It is not investment advice and does not recommend any trade.

## In one paragraph

OptionsNow is market-monitoring software. During the regular market session it evaluates
live price movement, relative volume, trend, broader market context, and same-day option
candidates and their liquidity. When an observation clears its configured qualification
rules, it posts a message to a private, subscriber-only Telegram channel. It does not
connect to a brokerage, does not place or manage trades, and does not produce personalized
recommendations.

## The pipeline

**1. Monitoring.** The scanner reads live market data across its watchlist throughout the
session, rather than sampling at intervals.

**2. Evaluation.** Each observation is measured on price movement against a recent baseline,
relative volume for that time of day, agreement between shorter- and longer-horizon trend,
and the state of the broader market.

**3. Gating.** Market context is applied as a gate rather than as one input among many. In a
range-bound, choppy tape, observations that would qualify in a directional tape are
filtered out.

**4. Option selection.** The same-day contract corresponding to the observation is
identified, and its quote is read.

**5. Liquidity screening.** Bid-ask spread and quote quality on that specific contract are
checked. An observation on a contract that cannot realistically be traded near the
displayed price does not become an alert.

**6. Delivery.** Qualifying observations are posted to the private Telegram channel with the
ticker, observed direction, observed contract, a bid/ask/midpoint snapshot, the quote
timestamp, and a setup score when available.

**7. Updates.** When conditions on a monitored setup change materially, a follow-up message
notes it.

## What the setup score means

A ranking of how completely conditions matched the configured rules. It is not a
probability of profit, not a confidence level, and not a prediction. A higher score is a
closer rule match and says nothing about outcome.

## What alert frequency looks like

Alerts are produced when conditions match, not on a schedule. Selective gating means some
sessions produce several alerts and some produce none. **Zero alerts on a choppy session is
the filter working as designed.** Alert frequency is not guaranteed, and no minimum is
promised.

## The subscriber workflow

Account access uses an emailed magic link — no password to manage. Checkout and billing run
through Stripe on a monthly plan at $199, with no trial. Once a subscription is active, an
authenticated connection flow grants access to the private Telegram channel; access is
revoked when the subscription ends. Cancellation is self-service through the Stripe
Customer Portal, and access normally continues through the end of the current paid period.

There is no dashboard to install or keep open.

## Boundaries

These are hard limits on what the software is, not caveats on how well it works:

- **No brokerage connection.** OptionsNow cannot place, size, adjust, or close a position,
and cannot manage risk on your behalf.
- **No personalization.** Every subscriber receives identical output. The software does not
know and does not consider your finances, objectives, experience, existing positions, or
  risk tolerance.
- **Not advice.** Alerts are general, impersonal, rules-based information. Nothing sent is a
recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or size anything, and no advisory or fiduciary
  relationship is created.
- **Not a guarantee.** No performance is promised or implied. No alert guarantees a
  profitable or available trade.

## Known limitations

Quotes and alerts may be delayed, incorrect, duplicated, or unavailable, and an observed
price may never be executable. The service depends on third-party market data, hosting,
payment, and messaging providers, and a failure in any of them can interrupt delivery.
Execution costs — spread, slippage, commissions, and fees — are paid on entry and exit and
consume a larger proportional share of a small same-day premium than of a longer-dated
position; the subscription fee sits on top of that.

OptionsNow's owner or affiliates may hold or trade an alerted instrument before, during, or
after an alert. Alerts are generated by the same automated process for all subscribers.

## The instrument

Same-day contracts expire at the end of the session in which they trade. Extrinsic value
converges toward zero as the session progresses, and a contract that is out of the money at
expiration is worth nothing. Total loss of premium is a routine outcome. See

software does and does not absorb.
